About me

Hi, I'm Cassidy.

You don't have to arrive in therapy knowing exactly what you need. Maybe you just know you're tired of feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or like you're repeating patterns you don't understand. Wherever you are, we can start there.

01

Why I created this practice

Reclaim & Reground Counseling is a space for individuals ready to understand themselves more deeply, heal from difficult experiences, and create healthier patterns moving forward.

02

Why it's personal

I grew up in a dysfunctional family and have experienced emotional dysregulation and trauma firsthand. I know how hard it is to break old patterns and heal — that journey led me to this work.

03

How I hold your trust

I've been on the other side of the therapy room too. I know how powerful it is to have a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported — and I don't take that trust lightly.

Beyond the therapy room

When I'm not in the therapy room, I'm usually spending time with my two Pomeranians — who fully run my life — enjoying stand-up comedy and cozy gaming, and listening to podcasts about self-help, holistic healing, and pet wellness. I'm especially passionate about the ways we can help our animals live healthier, happier lives.

A little room for lightness

Therapy holds space for grief, anger, and everything that has felt too heavy to say out loud — and it doesn't have to feel heavy every moment. When it fits and feels welcome to you, a bit of warmth or humor can make hard work feel more human. It's never used to brush past what you're carrying or to move you along before you're ready; you set the tone, and I follow your lead.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed — therapy isn't about judging your patterns, it's about understanding them and deciding what you want to do with them now.
